Ronnie Rodes *

We are deeply saddened in the passing of Ronnie, he brightened the lives of those he touched.

Ronnie will be missed terribly!

Ronnie started his insurance career approximately 22 years ago as an independent agent representing several insurance companies that included Aflac, Aviva, and Mutual of Omaha to name a few. Prior to that, Ronnie was the founder and executive director of two separate YMCA branches; Lake Houston YMCA of Kingwood, Texas in 1975, and the Huntsville Family YMCA of Huntsville, Texas in 1986. With over 18 years experience as a community servant along with his many years of experience as an insurance professional, Ronnie was a qualified insurance agent and part of the Innovative Premier Financial Service team.

As a Director & community leader through the YMCA, Ronnie’s roles creating and marketing many youth and adult programs, fueled his passion to educate and promote financial service literacy in his community.

Also a Distinguished Toastmaster, Ronnie was a member of the local Toastmasters club for ten years where he served as Club President, Area Governor, and Division Governor of Toastmasters District 56. During that time, Ronnie was also a member of the Woodlands Chamber of Commerce and the US Chamber of Commerce.

He and his wife, Jennifer, of 28 years resided in The Woodlands with their fourteen year-old son, Garrett, who is a special needs child with DMD. They are members of Fellowship of the Woodlands church where Ronnie volunteered as a grade-school shepherd. Ronnie enjoyed helping others, and his interests include public speaking, camping, jogging and sports. For the past 8 years Ronnie had also supported the Houston Rockets NBA team as a member of the Red Rowdies. He also held the distinguished rank of Eagle Scout.

Ronnie graduated from Sam Houston State University, with a BBA in Management.

Ronnie was insurance licensed in the following States: Texas.
